About Transition Corporation
The story so far...
We started out at Transition at the beginning of the COVID 19 pandemic when it became apparent that a lot of local companies were struggling to purchase quality affordable PPE equipment. Our aim was to source and provide the best products at the right price to protect the public and staff that were working in an office. Our clients include Salford Council where we provide all their leisure centers with the PPE they need and a company called The Hats Group which is a London-based non-emergency patient transport company. Since day one we have built a great working relationship with Salford Leisure and provide products such as safety masks, automatic hand sanitiser stations, hand sanitiser, gloves, overalls, aprons, and many more to all their sites in and around Salford.
The Transition
Our new relationship with The Hats Group is where we entered the recruitment side of our business. Hats had just started working on a contract in the North of England supplying non-emergency patient transport supporting the NHS. Initially, we were supplying their PPE products and during a meeting, they offered us the chance to begin recruiting Ambulance Care Assistants for their North West contract. Since then we have provided over 80 local people who have been fully trained and employed full-time by Hats.
